Russian cyber attack threat: How to protect your business
There has been a sharp rise in cyber attacks in the month since Russia invaded Ukraine. And while most of these attacks have taken place on Russian or Ukrainian soil, the threat of attacks against other countries remains high.
According to US President Joe Biden, the government has been improving cyber security defences for some time. They’re focusing on the infrastructure to make sure that water, electricity and oil pipeline services aren’t at increased risk of attack.
The National Cyber Security Centre in the UK warns businesses and citizens alike that vigilance and resilience are key to avoiding cyber attacks. Their advice to businesses includes a series of actions to be taken immediately to protect themselves against cyber attacks and other data security risks.
