Discover an improved battery with Windows 11

A longer lasting battery with Efficiency mode

Improved battery for better efficiency

There might be a solution to your computer’s most frustrating issue soon. We know how it feels, sitting at your desk, and you’re in the middle of a particularly productive bit of work when that dreaded low battery sign appears. You charged your laptop overnight! How could it possibly be on low battery already? Well, all those lovely resources that you use to do all that work are literally draining the life out of your device.

But now, poor battery could soon be a thing of the past. Last week we learned a super top-secret bit of info, Windows 11 is currently testing a new efficiency mode feature! Good eh?

I can hear you frowning from over here, it might seem a bit useless to you, but once I explain it a little more, it should make sense.

Now those resources that are draining your device, you can’t close them down because you need them! But what if you could switch them to efficiency mode? Meaning those same apps can still run AND your device runs at a super-duper speed and keeps your device running for longer, so you don’t have to rush to the charger before it runs out of power.
I told you it was good.

Now they are still in testing mode at the moment, but if all goes well, we can hope to see this new feature rolling out later this year. In the meantime, if your device seems abnormally sluggish and or seems to always die of low battery, we’ve got plenty of tips and tricks which could help. Give us a call and we can give you a helping hand.
